ATTENDING MEET UPS

Meeting with lots of dogs is an enjoyable and fun experience but we want to keep you and your pups safe.

Here are our guidelines:

  • Please do not attend if your dog is unwell, in season (heat) or has been diagnosed with Kennel Cough or anything else contagious 2 weeks prior.

  • When you arrive, please say hello to Damla or Emma, we just want to meet and know each attendee due to safety.

  • There will be photos throughout the meetup, please make it clear if you do not want photos and do not want them featured online

  • Meeting a large group of fluffy clouds is exciting for humans and dogs alike but it might also be a bit overwhelming. If you know your dog is anxious or shy please give yourselves a bit of extra distance from other pups and people

  • Please carry poop bags and pick up after your dog (we will always have extra poop bags if needed)

  • We’re sharing the park with lots of other people and animals, please be considerate.

  • If your dog has medical issues or allergies, do let us know - there are usually plenty of treats on the walk

  • If your dog displays unwanted behaviours (such as dominating others, stress & or humping) we will ask you keep them on the lead for their own safety & others

  • You are responsible for your dog and its safety at all times, please keep an eye on them

& more than anything enjoy yourselves! ☁️

SPITZ VALENTINES EVENT

The Spitz Valentines Event

Welcome to our first (indoor) community-led event!

About: We always get a lot of feedback about events for our community and we wanted to try the opportunity to do more. As this is a community-led event, it will not be open to the general public - however, we do ask that Japanese Spitz members feel free to invite their dog-owning friends to join us and sit down for coffee.

There will be a range of stalls to purchase & a cafe open all day at the venue.

*Stalls to be confirmed but Japanese Spitz Merchandise will be there to pre-order with a few items on the day to purchase.

If interested in hosting a stall - please contact Emma at the email below.

(This is run as a non-profit event and all tickets, stall costs, etc will be returned to the cost of the venue and running of the day. Any outstanding will be donated to the Japanese Spitz Rescue UK)

Health & Safety

We ask that all dogs please stay on a lead at all times and that owners do bring poo bags and clean up if there are any accidents. You may be kindly asked to leave or create distance if your dog is struggling with close interaction with other dogs.
