OUR MISSION

As our community continues to grow we recognised the need to continue the strong health and happiness of the breed. Protect the welfare and breeding of the Japanese Spitz and continue to support and protect our community.

Over time there has been an increasing need for knowledge, information & advice when it comes to finding, raising, and continuing the utmost dedication to this wonderful breed. We introduced further events to support Spitz Owners in all aspects of their dogs life from training, grooming & even agility!

*Please note we also accept American Eskimos, Volpino Italianos & Rescues and Crosses to the community

About Us

It all started 20th October 2018, when two Japanese Spitz dedicated Instagram accounts received a message…

From that point on it was history, we decided to set out to reach out and meet other Japanese Spitz in London. Our first real meet up only consisted of around 4 Japanese Spitz, since that time we’ve grown to a strong community of 80+ and growing! Most days our active community asks a range of questions and we do our upmost to reply and respond as much as possible. The website has been founded to be the directory of our most commonly asked questions and for any other out there to find us.

Many in the group have become life-long friends, close confidants and we watch the journey as many of our Japanese Spitz members grow from pup to pensioner. (Our oldest in the group currently age 12).

Damla & Yuki

Back in 2017, it was a warm day in June, I was walking through Hampstead Heath when we spotted our first Japanese Spitz. It was love at first sight, I knew this was the breed I wanted and I wouldn’t settle!

Soon after I got Yuki, I decided to open a Instagram account for her so I could reach out to other owners and see other Japanese Spitz. It soon became my dream to meet with other Japanese Spitz owners who lived near us in London.

I discovered a few accounts and messaged them, over time the community just grew and grew. Since the day I Emma & Koda in person, we became instant friends and we are family now. Over the time our Spitz community group grew and grew. Now we have 80 members which is was beyond what I could ever imagine

Emma & Koda

Koda’s Instagram was set up by my younger sister, but over the years my passion for photography and training of Koda caused me to take it over. In October 2018, I received a message from a female Japanese Spitz account in London, asking to meet up as she’d never had the chance to meet her own breed before (neither had we!). It turned out to be Damla & Yuki, since then we partnered together to fund the Japanese Spitz London group, amassing to over 80+ members and growing.

Now close friends, we’ve shared every concern, question or query related to the breed and are more than happy to share our expertise and learnings. I am always here to talk to or discuss the breed and Koda is more than happy to meet and greet and have a cuddle.
